About Udigas-450
Udigas-450 is a higher-strength oral tablet formulation of Ursodeoxycholic Acid (UDCA) 450 mg from Amigas Pharma, offering a convenient dosing option for patients who require larger daily UDCA quantities. Ursodeoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring hydrophilic bile acid that reduces cholesterol saturation of bile and supports hepatobiliary function. Under medical supervision it is used for the dissolution of radiolucent cholesterol gallstones in patients unsuitable for surgery and for the long-term management of primary biliary cholangitis (formerly primary biliary cirrhosis). The higher 450 mg strength can reduce daily tablet burden in appropriate patients, supporting adherence to long-term therapy.
